"Blessed Spirit" was inspired by the ice dancer Patricia Dodd, former member of the John Curry Skating Company and British National Ladies Champion from 1969 to 1971. She was described by Mr. Curry as the worlds greatest ballerina on ice. "Blessed Spirit" can be seen at the World Figure Skating Museum in Colorado Springs. It was exhibited in New York's Central Park at the Wollman Skating Rink in 1992.

A first edition bronze was purchased in 1996 by a private collector.
